The beauty of energy production from renewable energies is, that the energy is supplied free-of-charge. Technical conversion of solar radiation, wind- or hydro power to electrical energy or heat is the challenge for clean technologies.
As renewable energy has a low energy density or harvesting has it´s physical limits, equivalent energy production can only be achieved by enlarging the production surface. This energy production with PV-modules, wind turbines or hydro power stations has a high visibility and high impact on our eco-environment, as they need free exposure to the sun, wind or hydro.
